Guild Meeting

There will be a guild meeting Sunday, April 2 at 8:30pm mountain time. If you are unable to attend, please read the agenda and send me a note ahead of time with any questions or concerns. The agenda is:

  • New website: timeline, contents, profiles and email
  • TS server for Uncorrupted Power
  • New ranks and definitions, including quests for rank
  • Cooperation and trust
  • Upcoming schedules for dungeon runs and eventually raids
  • Any other concerns mentioned by members

I hope to see you all there.

Concerning Recent Events

Any member of Uncorrupted Power with the rank of Prince or higher who leaves the guild and wants to be reinvited needs to speak with me first.

It is my desire to know each member of the guild. In the next week or two, I will be spending some time in individual conversations with each of you. Recruiting will be closed until I am familiar with every one of you. A close knit group is beneficial in a guild because we know we can trust each other in dungeons and raids. Nobody will leave someone else to die or try to roll need on all the good items.

Drama and politics are not welcome in the guild. Please take it to a whisper. If you need further resolution, feel free to bring it to my attention.

We will be establishing a system for members to earn rank through quests. These quests will be designed to increase and prove the player's abilities. I will have two officers take charge of this.

I will keep everyone updated on the progress of our new website and on our soon to come TS server. Please be patient as Josh informs me that designing a website takes time.

Recruiting Guidelines

Some concern has been expressed over recruiting standards. Lest we become a large guild full of useless lowbies, please follow the criteria below:

  • Must be lvl 20 or higher
  • You must have partied with the potential recruit at least once - we want people you know are decent players, not random people who want to have a "cool guild name"
  • Certain professions are given a higher preference because we currently have so few: Tailoring, Enchanting, Engineering, and Blacksmithing
  • Certain classes are also given extra consideration as we have few: Warlock, Paladin, Warrior, Priest, and Mage
  • Must be active on our server, signing on at least once per week
These requirements may change as we grow. If we do grow too large, recruitment may be closed for a season. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments! This is everyone's guild.

Guild Charter

Welcome, wanderers of Azeroth.

Here are a few things to remember as a member of Uncorrupted Power:

  • L337sp34k will get you thwacked in the head.
  • We support a diversity of classes, professions, and personalities. If you're found belittling or harrassing a fellow guild member, you may be demoted and/or expelled.
  • Don't be an idiot. If you're really 13, fine. Just don't act like it.
  • Officers are here to help you. Don't be afraid to ask.
  • Wear your tabard. If you can't afford one, ask an officer for help earning the money.
  • We're light RP. I don't care if you talk OOC about what you did last night.
  • Even if we were heavy RP, "old style english" wouldn't be appropriate. We speak common tongue. You probably can't speak "old english" correctly anyway. If I see you adding "eth" to the ends of your words, you'll get thwacked in the head.
  • If you want a promotion, stay active. Assist others and don't beg. There can be only one Emperor and one Head Concubine, so don't ask to be one. Yeah, that's right. I said concubine.
  • Officer meetings will be informal and weekly, depending on schedules
  • Guild events will be held monthly. You will be informed of the time a week in advance by the guild message of the day.
  • If you're going to be gone for a week or more, let someone know so you don't get accidentally expelled.
  • Let's try to help each other with quests, dungeons, professions, and anything else to enhance everyone's game experience.
I hope we can all have a great time. If you have any questions or comments, please email me at UncorruptedPower@gmail.com.
